Privacy Policy
How PineTech IT Solutions collects, uses, and protects your information. Last updated: July 2026.
Who We Are
PineTech IT Solutions ("PineTech", "we", "us") provides managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and related technology services to businesses across the Greater Toronto Area. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, pinetech.ca, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit a contact or lead form, we collect the details you enter: your name, work email address, phone number, company name, and the message you write. You provide this information voluntarily so we can respond to your inquiry.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived here). This relies on cookies and similar technologies. If we run advertising campaigns, Google conversion-tracking cookies may also record that a visit led to an inquiry. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss the services you asked about
- To provide, plan, and deliver IT services if you become a client
- To measure which pages and campaigns lead to genuine inquiries so we can improve the site
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing email to form submitters who have not become clients unless they ask us to.
Service Providers We Use
Your information is processed by a small number of service providers on our behalf:
- Web3Forms — delivers form submissions from the website to our inbox
- Google Analytics / Google Ads — anonymous site analytics and advertising measurement
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security
- Microsoft 365 — our email and business systems, where your inquiry is received and stored
These providers may store data outside Canada (typically in the United States) and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
Cookies
This site uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and, when advertising campaigns are active, conversion-tracking cookies (Google Ads). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website works without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Retention
We keep inquiry details as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as required to deliver services and meet legal and accounting obligations. Information no longer needed is deleted.
Your Rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to further contact. Email [email protected] or call 416-671-5881 and we will respond promptly.
Security
We protect personal information with access controls, encrypted transmission (HTTPS), and the same security practices we recommend to our clients. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Questions or concerns can be directed to [email protected].
